I read the section on Google Videos and how to enable them but let me just get this clear. So all you have to do is put a 200x200 image ad on your website, and it displays videos? Does it display videos and images or just videos? Thanks.
If you set your ads to image ads only, the video ads appear more frequently as opposed to have text/image ads.
Np! Glad I could help. Yup, but when there's no video/image ads... it'll be blank (unless of course you've set it to display another ad of yours)
i too used to get the text ads mostly but when i kept only images to be displayed then i started getting the video ads
What do you mean? If you have text+image ads showing and a video does appear it means it out bid all other ads fighting for that spot. If you only have image (video) ads showing up, then you will either get a image/video or nothing. Just depends on how much inventory G's got. You have to set if you want Text+Image or just Text or Image when you go to create a new banner in your adsense panel - you probably already know that. Video formats are here: https://www.google.com/adsense/static/en_US/AdFormats.html#video As far as payments go - they vary just like text ads (most video ads iv found pay more - but that could just be for my niche) Hope that answered all your Q's
thats correct because then you may get video ads for a few cents only because you remove all the major bidding competition for normal ( max ) bidding if you have image ads only enabled - a most stupid decision - then you enable cheapest image ads and if on a particular topic/keyword there is no other image bidding competition - you may invite for the joy of advertisers image ads for as low as 1c same for videos good paying video ads are best expected in high end industries, strong and then in one of the 3 successful formats G publishes - since videos are impossible in their vertical success format - that leaves 2 formats only for high paying video myself i prefer the most rewarding of the 3 published formats
