Christian & Muslim and the world.

For all my life, what i see in this world is kind of sad. You see, there is literally a lot of religion out there but christian and muslim are perhaps the largest. You know what, while other people are trying to find proofs that proof other religion are wrong in some ways, i found that the christian and muslim are somehow the same in some ways.I saw a lot of similarity in both religion.The best part is, both are trying to send a well msg to their people. I think is is kind of stupid to condemn other religion, why can't get along?

 

In Islam, we spread peace. I know some of my non-Muslim brothers would laugh at this because of the false image extremists from Iran and Afghanistan give.
Allah says in the Quran that "If someone kills an innocent human being, its as if he killed the entire humanity"
And also, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said "A true Muslim is he from whom hands and tongue are other people safe"
Just imagine, when God has ordered peace to such an extent, why do you people offend Islam as a whole?
But at the same time, its a duty on Muslims to present the truth of Islam to others and leave the rest upon God because Allah guides whom He wills. This is because anybody to whom the message of Islam does not reach, on the Day of Judgement, he will complain to God that none of the Muslims warned me.
Its upto you to accept the truth or not.
My duty is to present it to you.

it annoys me when my muslim friend of many years gamble, drinks and mocks others but won't eat a pork sausage on religious grounds

 

Gambling, alcoholism and eating pork are forbidden equally in Islam.

 

I just wonder why he pick and choose, my girlfriend is muslim by birth, she drinks, eats pork but despises gambling

For all of these people, if they did not have any intention of revenge or doing justice, Allah will do justice on the Day of Judgement. And as the title suggests that BELIEVE IT OR ELSE, is also wrong. Its a mere propaganda against Islam.
And even if some Muslims spreads Islam like this, they are sinful.

God knows what intentions they had.
I can't comment on their actions. If the people they caused harm were innocent, they are sinful.

And ly2, stop propagating against Islam.
There are good Muslims and bad Muslims. If the media projects only bad Muslims, that does not mean Islam is a cruel religion.

 

I have a friend who was Jewish but is now Christian - Christ in his eyes is no longer coming but been and gone people converting happens every day.

Bushism is only restricted to fe countries. Most of China is in fact athiest. Although, at least according to data, Christianity is the largest ahead of Islam, very few Christians acually practice the religion and are in name only. In fact, I would say most are athiests.

And fair play to him, he probably lived amongst the muslim people in their locality listened to their doctrine and belief, and has taken it on board for himself.

The question is would there be a problem if he decided to convert to buddhism tomorrow?
