I removed all the credit cards from my PayPal account. Will it still Work?

I removed all the CCs. Can I still use my paypal? I am able to send payments using the paypal balance

In the home page of my account it says Activate Account - Add Credit Card...

Right now I have only VCC.

What to do?

 

I think you will be remain unvarified account holder and there will be limited withdrawal.

 

This does not seems like a wise thing to do. You may yet again cause problem for your account. I wouldn't be surprised if they lock your account out another time when you receive that $7k payment.

Thats what I exactly wanted to know. My account is verified.. and no CC at this moment... I think i can go on like this. Because I would face more problems if they are asking for a copy of credit card statement becoz if I want to add CC, it is going to be just a VCC !

 

I removed my bank account and CC from my business PayPal account a year ago. I transfer all the fund to my personal account when I need to withdraw them. I am still verified and haven't got any problem at all.

 

My paypal never had a cc, and its verified.

 

Remember your account was limited last month and they asked for all the documentations including the credit card statement.

Like you said, it may happen again. Do you want that to happen to you again ?

Then how did u verify ur paypal or u may have added ur bank account info to verify right?

I added a CC, entered the Exp use number and got verified. but now i removed all the CCs since they are virtual credit cards.. (netsafe HDFC)..

Now I have the bank statement for address proof and passport for ID proof.. so i can fax them these docs if they limit my account..

BUt i dont have a CC in my name.. so i cant add it..

if i have no CC, they cant ask for a CC statement, right?

 

I suggest you ask Paypal about it.

 

you can remove ccs without any problem if you have little bit funds in your paypal account

You can just remove all credit cards and bank accounts from your Paypal regardless of what funds you have in it. What will happen is services related to them will stop working for you. Other than that, you will remain a verified account holder.
