The results you get from http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ and http://digpagerank.com/ I noticed a few days ago these two showed very different results and I was wondering if anyone knows what makes these two sites different... They are obviously looking at different information, but what?
Different datacenters, Google has many different datacenters, and at a time like this when the pagerank is changing, each show different results.
That part is correct, and each of the sites you are looking at pulls from random datacenters every time you query. This part is false, there is not a PR update going on. -Michael
Go for digpagerank - it belongs to one of the more established members on here (Mong) and has a much wider range of Data Centers for you to look at - very attractive at a time like this when all the PageRank trainspotters are coming out of the woodwork!
Its because raketforskning displays PR randomly each time. While digpagerank displays PR on your choosen dc ip range. No this is not true for digpagerank.
What do you mean by "Vibrant DCs 50 ip" then? I thought you were using Vibrant to mean dynamically. -Michael
I never knew what "vibrant" meant. I guess you just gave me a reason to use yours instead of the other one.
liek they said they have many datacenter. some maybe update later but after a period of time it will be the same.
i use digpagerank usually. i believe that result. dpr calculate fast and showing nice thanks Mong for this tool.
She is always doing that. I think the only reason no one calls her on it is cause of the cute avatar. -Michael
I thought vibrant meant... vibrant adj. pulsating with energy, filled with action; lively, stimulating; characterized by rapid movement, vibrating; resonating; bright I feel well informed now
