Hey guys, There seems a lot of offer out there for web hosting, which one do you think s the best? I personally love Hostgator because of its warm customner service and all its plan are reasonable. how about you guys?
I am currently using hostvivid at the moment, it is a good host, i am currently on free accoutn as i am short on cash after being deleted suddenly form my old host, but i am plannign to move to paid. They are cheap and reliable. I only had great service and not to meantion fast service
im using two hosts , 1] hosingplex & 2] servage , .. and even though everyone bitches about servage,, ive not had any downtime & support has been quick.
my favourite hosting company is www.a1whs.com im pretty new in webmaster world. join about last year. since i found out a1whs.com hosting, i never had any problem. so i rate 8/10
I like my hosting, $1/month, 100M and clustered server, reliable. Great uptime. Account setup in 5 minutes. 24 hours technical support.
Anything like Dreamhost ? I'm looking for an hosting company with same features (i.e. the way we can add domain)
I have hosted atleast 10 sites with DH for the last 8 months, with their starter crazy domain plan. If you are new to DH you can find coupon that will save you $97 for the first year. For small sites I guess DH is cool, but you will experience downtime if you use up your CPU minutes.
AN Hosting (AKA Midphase) is the pits. Stay away from them. I have sites that go down about twice a month (and its not b/c of bandwidth) these are test sites and use maybe 500 mb a month. The customer service is awful. When my 1 year plan is up, I am kicking them to the curb. One time they went in to fix something, and deleted all my sites. It took 5 replies in customer support tickets for them to realize that this was a problem. I have used Dreamhost since around 1999, and have always been happy with their service. I know a lot of people don't like them, but I have never had an issue.
I'm my own damn host! -- well, takebacks, I have dedis at SoftLayer, but they have the best network I've found.
I was at elixant for a while, that service was awesome, but the owner decided to downsize things, so I moved on (unfortunately) Tried a dedi at LT but it sucked, now at HostedFX, going awesome so far
