Anyone who was terminated and NOT paid (look here)

    YPN has gone far enough...

I don't know if many of you know...But YPN terminated my account months ago, and said they would pay me for my valid clicks within 3 months. I awaited patiently...

3 months later, they said well all your clicks were deemed invalid and bad quality so we are paying you NOTHING.

So out of 9345 clicks, not 1 SINGLE CLICK was VALID? Give me a f***ing break.

I've kinda cooled off since then, even losing $x,xxx in ad money, and high $x,xxx in revenue. But my friend Arctic Pro just msged me, and I saw his thread and it made me think WTF? Obviously they have the right to terminate us, but can they get away with NOT paying us? He may still be paid in the 3 month window, but there are many others who just totally got the boot and no pay.

When a boss fires you, do you still get your last paycheck if you were jerking off on the job? YES. Why should this be any different? If our traffic/clicks were so bad, why did they keep us for so long, and then give us a boot/no pay?

Do we have any justice in doing a lawsuit? I could careless about being terminated, I just think I should get a PORTION of the money that I earned, and likewise for everyone else. Do we have any chance of succeeding in a class action lawsuit? Do they have data supporting that my 9k+ clicks didn't convert, and what we're so bad about them? And just to add to the fire, if all my money earned was returned to the advertisers, how do I know? How do we know they just don't keep it?

    Cliff notes:

Can we start a class action lawsuit for YPN to pay terminated publishers, the money they deserve, or are we S.O.L?

Thanks AriGOLD, worded it great. My main thing is how I've been a publisher for a year and 3 months and then they JUST NOW decide my site is "low quality", all the while, their relevency has always been a problem.

The lady I talked to on the phone said pretty much that it's their decision what clicks are valid/invalid... how would they be able to tell?

So I'm guessing every Advertiser tells YPN which refers converted for them?

Same happened with Shoemoney. He talked about it during his presentation at SES NYC 2007.

If you lost that much, you would be asking questions also, but I forgot your just a drone, and have no clue whats going on in the world. BTW, I see that your from a 3rd world country and thats why you made that post, your just jealous because you can't get into YPN...

Ill be happy to join your lawsuit peps!;)

a lawsuit would likely hold no ground. and, more than likely, the attorneys fees would cost more than your combined suit would be worth. and, im pretty sure ypn and google have all the top lawyers in the world ensuring them that they can terminate and not pay for whatever reason they want. you would have to prove fraud on their end, and not them proving their innocense and justification of the termination and payment withold. it sucks, and i would be just as pissed if they refused payment to me. if the $ was enough i definately would not hesitate to contact an attorney to check my options, but i wouldnt hold my breath either.

I got one word for all of you: Read the TOS.

Besides the fact that Yahoo sucks in everything, legally they can kick you any time and keep the money by claiming it is invalid.

You can sue them and win (unless they provide evidence on such clicks) but is it worth the time/cost?

A class action might be a good try.

    Peace,

I am sorry but I just have to say this:

Third world country? Did you even go to school? Can you even point out where Norway is on the map? Yes, we are not allowed into YPN, but calling Norway a third world country shows just how stupid you are.

    OnT:
I feel your pain guys, don't let YPN get away with this!

I think the only thing we can do is warn possible future publishers to stay away from them because they are a fraud.

Stay with adsense because your chances of getting banned for low quality traffic is alot lower.

yahoo pays for all valid clicks while omiting the invalid ones. They probably look at the entire website during the review process and traffic logs. If they see pattern they dont like you get nothing. if a specific advertiser cmplains yahoo may refund him. I dunno only yahoo would know who gets paid how much after termination.

I think most of this kind of service now aday is really danger .. You will have no idea why they are going to close out your account with some stupid reason made by them .. so just be careful about it
