Hi tbwnet - While I can't refute what your users are telling you, I can tell you what our advertisers are telling us -- Kontera publishers provide excellent conversions for their products. This is the only way that we can justify their increased budgets. We are continually measured against banner advertising, pop ups, etc and win. Great product support Jack. I just implemented Kontera on one of my sites 2 days ago and I'm waiting to see what kind of performance I'll get. I have high hopes.
As Jack mentioned, Kontera is not AdSense replacement. It works in a different manner. I have a working Kontera on one of my site, and I can see it doing quite okay for a start. It's always helpful to have alternative source of income.
I have a site that gets around 40,000 uniques a month, is this too low for your service? I've boycotted Google due to their stance on paid links among other things, and I'm looking at alternatives to monetize my site, as well as my network of sites. Is the 500,000 mark strictly inforced?
