Don't know how many people will be considering an upgrade of their cell phone to an iPhone, but this might prove an interesting read for those trying to decide. http://www.iphoneforums.org/iphone-comparisons/the-iphone-competitors.html Josh
I have done extensive article writing concerning the iPhone and other competitors. Long story short, the iPhone will offer more functionality, space, features, and incentives in the long run. Phones such as the blackberry have some downfalls. And many phones do not have a touch screen, such as the apple phone. If you take a look at the iPhone specs, you will see they are incredible.
The iPhone is from Apple. Thats whats going to win the race for apple. Remember - while countless other MP3 Players may be just as good as the ipod, and cheaper (than the shuffle even), they're not as popular because they just aren't the original.
Good link. One thing that has always baffled me is why people rave about the Motorola Razr, I had one ages ago and it was shit. And I see quite a few people using them in dramas/tv programs here in the UK. I'm quite surprised. Are Motorola paying these peeps for the plug?
ya my friend got a motorola razr and I agree it's over-hyped - then you know it's good marketing heh I heard that iPhone has a horrible battery life though... is that true? I mean, they even made fun of it on a Saturday Night Live episode
i want to get a iPhone, my dad currently has the blackberry, but will get the new one in that blog when it comes out soon
Same here.. I thought it was shit, as did everybody I knew who had one. And of course motorolla are paying for the plugs
Honestly, I have a RAZR and I love the thing. It was the only phone in my price range that had blue tooth available. Unforetunately, it's hard to turn off the bluetooth paring as a call is incomming if you can't find where you placed your headpiece, or the bluetooth headpiece runs out of juice. The only other gripes I have about it are the accessibility of the speaker phone function, and the fact that you need proprietary software to transfer pictures to and from the camera, unless you're going to use multi-media messaging over a costly service... or you have to get a mini sd card.
I think Iphone is going to be one off the best phones soon It has much more features and allows you to call, surf, watch pictures, take pictures, find maps, streets and much more!
Glad you enjoyed the article, and i agree with a lot of what you guys are saying. I feel that it will only be the N95 that will be better than the iPhone...but it has one hell of a price tag.
Yeah I got the N95 a couple of weeks ago, it is an awsome phone. The sound from the speakers on such a small unit is outstanding mate, and the quality of the mp4 files is also very good. The memory is a bit crappy (150MB I think) but you can buy memory for it up to 2GB I think. It's a shame they don't give it with 2GB instead of having to pay even more for the chuffing memory upgrade.
