One thing I wanted to ask,how do u differentiate the 1st. Class and 2nd. Class? You said websites with more traffic r 1st. Class, but how did u know the traffic statistics of those sites? Any insight is highly appriciated.

my old blogspot site increase traffic from 100+ to 30k a month by focusing on high traffic community forums!

Just add interesting writeup and a link to one of the pages, rinse, repeat, and you see the result.

And soon, most of my keywords climbed to 1st page google, and traffic balloned.

so forums are important too ^^

 

Nice, but they're right, this is basically a duplicate post. I've seen it a thousand times with the same, and often more news sites.

 

Is the traffic converting to anything, thats the question. Often not i suppose.

One thing u can do to get .edu back links is
- If u r student of any college or university that there must be any site of that college.and there is one separate section for students or they are providing facilities to students for creating there profile.so u can put your links there.

- as Janna122003 told, it is one of the best way to get .edu link

How do you get .edu backlinks? Are these official links OR student pages? The figured the former would be quite difficult.

take a look at http://somapps.med.upenn.edu/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=5 for example. do you really think that this tons of spam will help you somehow ? i think google has the capacity of understanding that forum contains just shit... and your link would be without value....

I have thought about doing social bookmarking but I didn't think it would be that beneficial I've never been fond of those things but after reading that it makes me think twice.

There are people who get an alexa rank of 15 and have been open for 2 weeks I just find those things like ridiculous but still very jealous. I think I should start making a plan since doing it spontaneously has worked thus far but not to where I wish it would be.

And these places are pure gold. So you can find out the .edu sources that will bring you the better and fast results, most of them even more results that the most trafficked bookmarking site.
