Alright, Had my worst day ever yesterday with AdSense - miserable CTR and CPM.. I don't really pay much notice to day-to-day swings but just came back from tea this morning and noticed I had one click worth nearly $9!! Can that be right? From a site I have had going for a while that crosses into mortgages so maybe that's where the click came from.... Still, $9 for a click looks wrong to me...
Sorry guys - wasn't trying to be smart. The highest click I have got up too now was $1.80 but my average would be akin to most on here. Just think that a $9 click looks like an error somewhere. Also think it's strange that it's come on the back of my worst day ever with AdSense (average click price way down).. Anyone else experienced something like that?
that just one heck of a lucky click..nothing wrong just the adwords guy forgot and set the bid to max lol.. enjoy!
Well you are very lucky that you have a high click ads on your website. It is ok for you and I hope you will get more high clicks.
It's probably an error, but one made buy whoever setup the adwords campaign, their mistake is your gain - enjoy it it won't happen very often
I've got someone running a campaign incorrectly on one of my sites at the moment. Very cool - no more $0.07 clicks at the moment! Notting
I was thinking that myself given the lack of clicks yesterday but I am completely sure that this came off 1 click as I was monitoring figures closely this morning (and I caught it early when there was only a handful of clicks)...
$9/ a click is RARE. What is your site's niche if you don't mind telling us? Maybe an irrelevant high paying ad appeared on your site.
Once in awhile you'll hit the "big one" with a click. My highest payout to date was $16.18. I nearly fell off of my chair and yes I wanted more!
I bet you did. The highest click I got was about $4-4 if I'm not forgotten. Congrats to OP! You definitely need more like that don't you
These days I rarely get a click for more than $2. However, I'll take several of those any day. I just wish my average 12 cent per click on one site would improve. No, wait, I just switched over to YPN!
9$, this is possible, I don't think this is an error, but let us know if something happen with that...
