    .flv are Flash Video files. You can actually use a flv player on your website or desktop to play them. You can also use the nice freeware SUPER to convert flv/mp4s to many other formats.

    trust me man, the idea you described here is great, and I already did a video blog, I'm just curious about this and would like to check with Google if it is legal or not rather than reading your fight here with danimal. I did a search on Google and there are thousands such video blogs so it should be safe to use the idea. but.. better safe than sorry.


    EDIT: I also sent mail to google to make sure you're right and stop this fight, and maybe people will come with more ideas and improvements to your idea.

    Dude, why are you worrying about other peoples sites, how does that help you in any way? Just a waste of time imo

    It's been said over and over around the board and the net

    As long as you don't host copyrighted material on your site and server its fine

    If you use video sites like youtube or google video, it is assumed by google that copyrighted material is already deleted.

    Therefore, if it's hosted on youtube, its fine because if it wasnt fine the video would have already been taken down by google
