Could someone please explain how the buddy list works? I've added a couple people to my list but it doesn't look like it actually serves a purpose from what I can tell. I can't even click on their names to see there profile or anything. There are a few members here who make very good posts in certain areas and I thought by adding them to my buddy list I would be able to track some of their posts better.
I have no idea!! I am the only person on my buddy list. It's lonely being me One thing I do know, I now have a "+" next to my name where it shows that I'm online or viewing a thread! your WELcome
Ah ha, I've figured it out. I see that it does have a + next to the name of people who are on the buddy list. To view the buddy list I need to click on "Quick Links" at the top and then click on "open buddy list" from the drop down menu. This opens the list and I can now see if any of my "buddies" are online and I can also click the icon next to their name and view their profiles.
add me! actually i have not added anyone yet! dp is not like yahoo messanger, you chat 15 minitues and add a buddy! but then a few buddies here and there always feel good!
Yeah... If you look at the currently active users below the homepage of DP, you will see the members in your buddy list next to your user name. You can easily see if they are online. I guess that's just it. --Joe
Who uses the buddy list lol... you can restrict your content information so that it appears to people on your buddy list only.. but other than that I don't see a major use for it.
