    He is a SCAMMER

    Beware he duped me

He took my egold $110 and also held the money he gave me exchange $140 in paypal.

Please help me guys...is there any way i can get the money back my egold or is there any way i will win the case against him...

Please help me. I work hard and earned these $$$ from the service i offer on DP to other members.

This is very dis-appointing coz i'm in India where $140 means a lot for us and not for other parts of the world........... I'm going MAD coz i had to buy three domains with that money..

Can i get my money back anyhow or atleast stop him from using my money please guys help me

What kind of help you are looking at?

I don't think anyone here can force him/her to pay you back. Neither we have heard his/her side of story.

I am sure you already learned your lesson - you need to be more careful with your money when dealing online.

well i am sorry for what happened... but dont you think it was your mistake?

i got following message from him as well:
and i am sure he sent same message to many. you should have avoided it consider he had only 14 posts.

sad again for what happened. but i still say, it was your mistake.

I'm really sorry Sandrarocks.. Maybe you can try contacting e-gold and they'll shut his account down if they get similiar complaints?

there are other ways besides egold

Never say paypal dat u were involved in the paypal/egold exchange, else paypal will ban ur account as this is against paypal TOS, but u can write to paypal that u have provided him articles for which he paid and after getting the articles he chargedback.

Even after saying all this i dont think paypal will listen to u,can u tell us that the paypal amount he paid u is from his paypal balance or CC.

I got a PM from this one too and sorry to hear about your problem but you need to follow the old saying "if it's too good to be true it is". It is a lesson you learned the hard way and costly way. Don't make deals unless you know the person. I am not sure you have any recourse because I don't use Egold but sounds like a $110 life lesson!

As far as I understand it, paypal will not cover intangible products. Usually they want to see a delivery slip of some kind from the mail or courier service to prove you sent the item to the customer.

Unfortunately Paypal won't do anything if it involves non-tangible goods. ie digital delivery by Email, download etc.

If you say you sent him an article, it would need to be delivery by post and you would need to provide the postal receipts to Paypal for verification.

I wish i could give a solution, however it appears he's got this worked out so nothing can come back on him.

Report it to the appropriate authorities... they will be able to apply to DigitalPoint for the user's information but as you've said you were lured by the high return when you should have taken that a warning of high risk... too high in this case.

I won a case involving a digital good and i was the buyer.

Regarding your own case, i believe that he paid you with money taken from a hacked Paypal account. Buying egold with "stolen" paypal is a well-known scam on forums!

You can email e-gold about this ..
they will ask for a proof and then they will block his account.
