How many times do I have to tell you I'm not a Jew? I have no religion, at all.
My family isn't Jewish, my friends aren't Jewish (except my boss and his wife / family)

I am in no way connected to the Jewish religion. If I was, I would say I was.

"My God my God why have you forsaken me"

He's not attacking Christianity. He's saying that God has forsaken him. That's why he called himself Ishmael. Even God rejected Ishmael.

Even his parents rejected him. They sent his sister off to Princton and he got stuck at some state school.

This isn't hard to figure out if you actually listen to him. His parents crapped on him. Other people crapped on him. And one day he snapped. As an English Major he was just more literary in his explainations of why he's doing what he's doing.

I like how the Muslims on this thread are more interested in plugging their ears and claiming "he's not muslim" than actually participating in the point of this thread which is to figure out why he did it.

I'm really disgusted with the media handling of this. They had all the information and instead of listening to this kid they just took bits and pieces out of context and then threw up their hands and pretended he was just babbling about nothing. Even a psychologist this morning on talk radio claimed all this suffering was just "in his head."

It's that kind of idiocy that gets people killed. Everyone just wants to label these people crazy and shove pills down their throat rather than getting to the bottom of what is the source of their misery. He told people exactly how he was feeling by telling us how he could relate to these characters.

And this is from a person who starts a stupid thread with title: "VA Shooter Appears to Have Been Muslim " instead of asking why did he do it.

Well, theocracy and hypocrisies aside (it's called being a human, everyone who has ever lived has been in some way contradictory or hypocritical in a large or small way - no matter who) I would like to say that the man was everything that could go wrong in someone's mind - worse thing is that he chose to not initiate contacts, as if in some way he enjoyed the pain he inflicted on himself deep down.

Just too bad he died - would have been so much more cruel and punishing if he'd lived the rest of his life in solitary confinement forced to be exactly what he thought he was - alone.

Being Muslim would explain it. Another Sudden Jihad Syndrom victim taking out the infidels. That's the way the news made it sound with their out of context quotes. They made him sound like he was trying to be a martyr punishing people for their sins. Kind of like what gworld's friends do on a daily basis.

That's the problem with psychologists. They tell people they're wrong about how they feel. "I'm alone." "No you're not, now take these pills."

People can be in a crowed room and still be alone. For whatever reason he felt his parents abandoned him. But, that's hard work to figure out why he feels he's been abandoned. It's easy to write a prescription for pills and just tell him it's all in his head.

What people don't get is that family is first. Then friends. If you're an outcast to your family, there's little your friends can do to help you. People who are abandoned by their family tend to join gangs and kill people. They're too depressing to be with normal kids with normal families. Gangs are filled with people just like them who actually listen to them and understand them. The problem is that gangs don't offer positive help. They just feed the anger.

It depends on child in what sense. If you are speaking metaphorically, we are all God's children because HE created us.
But if you are speaking in the way of child in the biological term, as Christians believe that Jesus is the SON of God, then muslims do not agree with that relationship. We do NOT believe that God procreates like human beings. So Jesus could not be the SON of God in the sense that I am the son of my biological father.
But we are all God's children as He is the creator. He created Jesus NOT through a sexual relationship. We believe that God says: Be and it becomes. Jesus was all flesh and blood. A great messenger of God that we muslims love and admire. But we do not agree that he was God or God's child.

I liked my pet ferrets better. They didn't talk which prevented them from saying things that had nothing to do with anything.

    Ablaye:

Which futher illustrates the stupidity of the whole bit about not being a child of God found in the Koran. Jews and Christians never claimed to be the biological children of God. So again, Muhammed's arguments make no sense. Like Ferret.

Jews do not even recognize Jesus to start with.
Christians do believe that Jesus was THE ONLY SON of God as in he was PART of GOD. Some say that he was God. Some say that he was GOD, the SON of GOD and the Holy Ghost. Go figure. But at any rate, they believe he had God material.
Aren't we all part of our father and mother in the biological sense???

For muslims, God created all of us and he created Jesus (a very beloved Prophet for muslims) from a virgin woman Mary.

You will never see Muslims insulting Jesus or his pious Mother, as Jews have done.

Mmmm. Potentially. But there's more to it than creation. I've created some technical devices before, but they aren't my children (though a few of them were my 'babies' for a while). I think another big part is affiliation, affection, and acknowledgment. If someone says "I have no father", and mean it, are they still the child of the person that brought them into this world?

Biology has nothing to do with it. In this view on Jesus, God is not procreating but rather making an aspect of himself incarnate in flesh.

wrong...as usual.....some Jews do except Jesus as the promised Messiah...you are just mad because Jews don't recognize muhammed (except for the heretic he was)
This shows your complete lack on knowledge on the subject...Jesus is not seen as a "part" of God by Christians...if so, then those groups are not chistian (i.e. Mormons, who are not considered christian by anyone but themselves)..furthermore, Jesus is a "person" in the Trinitarian God, which comprises of three "persons" (not individual) Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is God (not WAS), because he(Jesus) is one of the three "persons" of God...You can't be a god and then all of a sudden not be one...
Jesus and his mother was a Jew...and yes, Jews insult Jews...last time I checked Christians insult Christians and muslims insult muslims...I am having a hard time finding a point to your argument (other than you hate Jews, Christians, and anyone else your idiotic imam tells you to hate).:rolleyes:
