    H1 through H6, are section headings.
    H1 should be used for heading
    H2 for second level heading ...

    And at the end of the day, it's not a huge deal to worry about anymore. Far more important to focus on getting solid backlinks with keyword anchor text.

    I would have only 2 H1 tags max, then maybe 5 of the others mixed around.

    My personal feeling is that there should be only 1 h1 tag on the page. If you need more than that then you really should be busting your content up into 2 pages. Plus, having multiple h1 tags on a page may look like blatant seo to the engines.

    After that, I just use h2, h3, etc... as subheading tags where they should naturally occur.

    so do you just h1 all ofyour keywords? even in paragraphs?



    do you feel h1 should be higher on the page than others?

    yeah for me, yes, only one h1 for each page.. with the main keywords, and as higher as u can on the page..

    im using like about 2-4 h2 tags in 1 page with page keywords and some others pages keywords.

    I wouldnt put more then 1 H! tag, but 3 - 5 of the others is pretty good!
