FireFox Download Problem...

    I'm downloading, like normal. However, it's like stuck... not paused, just not progressing.

    Do I have to redownload?

    just cancel it and redownload...that's something really not worthy of a thread.

    Yeah.. I use to get this problem with FF.. reload the download, check your wireless.. if all fails just use IE to download the file.

    Well, it was a very large file. I just didn't want to wait another 6 hours if I don't have to.

    It only takes me about 60 seconds to download it...it's not that big, it's maybe 6mb

    Sometimes the files tend to time out (well atleast when I try to download 30 MB files) not sure how big your files are.. in the GB? sometimes you can't always "continue download" with FF..

    Why don't you use Download Manager for downloading :rolleyes:
    I use DAP (Download Accelerator Plus) for downloaded large files

    the original poster wanted to download a file using firefox, not download firefox itself!!:D

    yes, a download manager is always suggested for downloading large files, i use DAP, it is pretty quick!:)

    I'm sorry mate but you need to re-download it. I guess you can't prevent wasting another 6 hours.
