I have a domain with Name cheap.

And on domain tools it says it is still available.

Name cheap tells me that is registered until 9/11/2007

and the site is down now.

What is the best I can do, what should I do?

    Any help is appreciated.

Godaddy says that the domain is taken.

    Thanks

If you bought it and have an email invoice for the purchase of that domain name, just write to their support and they will sort it out for you.

The last time I did a transfer but the domain name did not appear in my control panel and writing to them got it resolved.

If the domain name is indeed with Namecheap, why are you relying on a third
party non-registrar service that doesn't guarantee accuracy? You should just
check with Namecheap or the VeriSign COM NET Registry, assuming this is a
.com domain name being referred to here.

But indeed, have you logged a ticket with Namecheap? DP is not their support
    forum, you know.
