I wounder, If you can get a 500-1000 direct visits a day by a traffic exchange or something smiler, what good will come out of it? some say that the website rank will go up, but that's are direct visits and not even from back links....
If you're talking about traffic exchange then the traffic will be useless and will eat your bandwidth. Your adsense account might also get into trouble (if you use it). The best source of paid traffic is CPC advertising.
I'm actually opening this thread because a lot of people think that Junk traffic is good, so....they even pay for it. That is so called scamming people, Some say that is better traffic then CPC, they are willing to pay $1 for 1 visit of Junk Traffic. I will need more support from dp members to support my theory. paying to get tons of untargeted traffic from people who don't really care about the information on your site is quite pointless...at least IMHO depends...not everyone cares about alexa ranking...since it's not a full overview of the internet...just people who have the toolbar... i know if i were buying a site i wouldn't even look at the alexa ranking...
Most experienced webmaster don't care about Alexa rank because they know that it can be faked easily. If your website is under 10k then it is considered good, otherwise useless.
I know that you can create a very simple blog about same topic. send a lot of traffic through traffic exchange and put links to your site on that blog. this will help you with backlinks, but direct traffic exchange is pretty much useless.
page rank won't go up, but you get income from your traffic. Put up adsense or affiliate products to promote on your site.
Depends on how targeted the traffic is and how good your page is in converting them to ad clicks or sales. Talk about an open ended question....
