$50 Logo Contest - www.wehateporn.com (and 2nd and 3rd place prizes)

Hi Everyone,

Here's a logo contest for the top left of my website to replace the existing logo. The name of the site is We Hate Porn - http://www.wehateporn.com and the concept is that it's for people who like to see non nude sexy babes wearing bikinis, underwear etc, but perhaps don't enjoy porn.

1st Prize - $50
2nd Prize - $30
3rd Prize - $10

The contest runs from NOW Tuesday 17th April until midnight Tuesday 24th April (whenever the last country in the world turns midnight)

As an added incentive there are 2nd and 3rd prizes too, so as more people get a reward for their time.

Be as creative as you like with the logo. Perhaps you could come up with a little cartoon that represents the concept, or maybe some clean and striking graphics. Don't let me hold you back as I don't know about creating these things, though I am able to appreciate quality and talent, so I will be judging the competition.

Clearly this goes without saying, but just to put it in writing - once I have paid the winners I will then own the copyright to the logos they designed.

Please feel free to ask any questions. You can enter as many logos as you like into the contest; don't hold back.

Feedback after 1st day

These are Outstanding!! I would have been delighted for everyone one of them to have won the contest. Now the level has been pitched in the clouds.

Who's in front so far? Well you all deserve to win, and if I had enough money I'd pay you all, but alas I only have the original prize funds available.

If this competition ended today, I would probably have to go with one that fitted in with my colour scheme as it is now, to make less work for me, even if one of the other logos was a slightly better design. However, if there was a logo that stood out so far ahead of all the others, I would be willing to change my colour scheme for it.

Feedback (in order of who posted first):

koporc - Tidy design there, the colours fit well, the URL's there, excellent stuff, and even more impressive that you put it together so quickly

Nitro - Genius, so simple unyet so effective. Very creative.

blue-rain - Cool design, there's something about it which makes me want to keep looking at it, very catchy! Was this really 'just for fun'? It's fantastic!

marioland - I love it, a cute catchy logo that it sums up the concept. Brilliant!

[x[x]x] - Very clever and tidy design. Having the web URL could well pay off on the long run; this logo also has a business side to it. Would I be treading on Nike's toes a bit with this, or would that not be an issue?

zinruss - Amazing design! I love the effect on the writing, and outline of the girl. Another one that's hard to stop looking it.

darzuaga - WOW! Those have class written all over them. You've got the URL combined with an eye catchy lady, and it's all so elegant, sorry, my words aren't doing it justice. It won't be long until you get spotted and offered big bucks!

Fidel_Castro - Excellent stuff, I'm liking the girl and reflection a lot. The cartoon girl in a bikini goes perfectly with the concept of the site. A talented designer for sure! Nice to see the URL too.

ramakrishna p - Very well thought out design; combining the concept and the URL. I like them a lot. Both eye catchy and attention grabbing. You're obviously very talented.

You're spoiling me over here...now back to who's in front so far...I couldn't pick a winner so far...a number of you are neck and neck, and I would have to get other people involved in the judging. I'm going to be testing them on the site design, printing them out and putting them around the house, so as to test they're durability.

Anyway, there's over 6 days left, so early days, even though we've already got so many potential winners.

Good luck and don't forget that you can enter as many logos as you like into the contest, even if it's just a minor modification to one that you've submitted already.

Thank you. To be honest, i'm wondering regarding the following:
1) Is it i should use more "sexy" vectors? One of my friend review my creation and he is laughing. He said the girl has something on her hand - se x toy..
2) Should i put some light effect on it? It might be a good sign board with light effect

Thanks for your message. Yours is a fantastic design!

I would only be able to comment if I saw the other designs, then tested them in my site design, I can't really imagine them in my mind.

I'm sure your friend was quietly impressed with your design. Sexy is what I'd advise, though I wouldn't want to stifle an artists creativity, and as for the sex toy, with it being an cartoon outline, then your logo would still be fine for the site.
