XOOM codes no longer working

    I just tried a bank transfer using XOOM. Neither "XOOMLATINO" nor "JIM" are working anymore :(. And no, it's not because I've already used them. I haven't. :(.

    you have figured it a bit late, those codes are not working for the last few weeks. i think they have expired. we are looking for some new codes:rolleyes:

    Oh :(. Anyway, paid the $8 fees for the transaction. It says $5 fees for premier members or something, right? How do we become premium members?

    It expired long ago..........Wana get your fees to $5 shoot a mail to Xoom and they will tell you the procedure....get ready with your income details, source details and also tax details :)

    i don't think xoom will do any more promotions.
    but then the fees if just $8, it is not too much, with the dropping exchange rates between $ and INR, $8 looks like a small charity fee:rolleyes:

    Unfortunately, the coupon codes are not available upon request, they normally provide the coupon codes when they are not able to provide what they promised. :D

    Ok Everyone. here is the trick if you want to get back as much as possible from the Xoom fees.

    It whooooopppping $15 for every $1K transfered. Here is what you can do. Be a Xoom affiliate. You need to meet the guidelines described by Xoom on there site to be one (its isnt hard to be one) and then when you carry out any transaction from Xoom you get $6 for every transaction done through your affiliate program and Xoom fees remains $15. So you actually get back your own money. However you still have to give $9 to Xoom. Till they actually give out promotion codes.
