yeah, thats the answer....how about this one...if VT allowed people to carry concealed handguns on campus, would that have prevented this? The guy would have had to fight then instead of shooting innocent people.
And it is precisely this gun free zone that makes schools (in the words of an analyzing cop) a 'soft target' that people wishing to commit mass murders gravitate too.
On-campus surveillance systems would have prevented it better. But liberals don't like to be spied upon while committing crimes.
For anybody that's against letting citizens have guns, what would the citizens use to defend themselves with? A crowbar? :???: I mean, outlawing guns wouldn't really stop the bad guys from getting them, it would only make us defenseless. And what about our right to bear arms?

I was wondering if there was a list! I saw a list of American school shootings and it was stupid....so short. I remember in the 80's early 90's there were school shootings all the time! But it was mostly inner city minority kids shooting each other over bling crap like 8 ball jackets & sneakers. It was almost daily when the gangs were really gearing up and crack on the scene. Not one of those was listed. I wonder what the definition of a school shooting is?
It only counts if it's in a middle class neighborhood or higher. The girl wasn't really his girlfriend. It was probably just a girl that wanted to be nice to him and he got the wrong idea.
Dude lived in the US since '92. He was pretty much Americanized. You know the US can assimilate its immigrants better than any other country. In my book he was more American than South Korean, a country where guns are completely illegal to own.
