I know there bad, but I don't see why every bad person nowadays is connected with islam. "BREAKING NEWS: John smith was caught murdering 15 people, experts believe he was influenced by his muslim friend Mohammed Zaghri"..

If John Smith murderous rampage was motivated by religion then religion matters. You have to know why these people believed what they did so you can fix the problem so that others don't have the same mistaken beliefs in the future.

Who are you to say it's a mistaken belief, some middle aged "Patriotic" white american hick? can't you respect people, there's a few bad apples in it yes, but if you invaded my country and raped my mother hell I would be mad too, if you harmed my brothers I would be pissed too. Do you think they see both sides of the news in effing muslim countrys? But apparently they don't in america either..

    And here come the excuses.

So what you're basically telling us is that it's okay that this guy murdered 32 people because (fill in the excuses). You're trying to convince us all that those 32 people who did absolutely nothing to this person, deserved to die because (fill in the excuses).

No.. Btw theres no official report saying hes muslim OR that it was religious motivation.

Im saying its not right to label the belief of over 1 billion people a mistake, it's THEIR culture, heck they used to be more civilized then us a few hundred years ago!

I like the part where it's possible to murder people for religious reasons but not have a mistaken belief. So basically it is possible to have a valid religious reason to massacre people.

edit: oh, it's a reading comprehension problem. Let me explain it to you again.

If John Smith is a Christian that believes he has a right to murder people, he has a mistaken belief because Christianity does not teach that. I would want to know what led him to believe that Christianity gave him the right to murder the people he did so I can show him his error and make sure other Christians don't make the same mistake.

I didn't twist your words. In the context of what I was talking about, that's what you said.

Now you're making excuses for this piece of human trash, just like we talked about a few posts ago. This is EXACTLY why I have a problem with Muslims. I suspect this is the reason most have issues with your religion.

You're sitting there trying to spin this into something about Iraq. Good job.

Hey, how many killers write Islamic words all over their arm before they go on a killing spree? Hmmm? How many? Yea exactly.
You keep stalling for as long as possible, we both know what religion the guy was.

    Close. Very close indeed, Johnny!

Actually his name was Randall Royer. Also know as Randall Todd "Ismail" Royer. Quite a coincidence, wouldn't you say? White sounding name like in your example above, but also taking on "Ismail" (another convert)

It's amazing how a completely hypothetical scenario, as you described, can be so eerily real in life.
