Need your opinion about my site. Is it flagged?

One of my most succesfull sites today faced a devastating loss. My google rankings went down and down! Which means a 70% traffic reduction and 70% profits reduction.

What happened to my keywords? My main keywords (5-6 keywords) dropped from top 10 to the 70th - 80th place. Besides, some subsubpages are in the first or second page. Some subpages are also dissappeared.

Any suggestions? Do you believe my site is flagged or penalized?
Any solutions?

Completely normal to see those types of shifts. Google is always tweaking its ranking algorithm. My advice would be to do nothing and give it some time - many times your rankings will return. If you were banned, you wouldn't be ranking at all.

 

Not that anyone can predict it, but some are predicting a PR update really soon...I have noticed some changes on some of my pages as well...maybe they are in the process of doing a PR update.

hope you re right, i m realy anxious about this. did you have similar experiance? and did the rankings come back?

 

my rankings have only improved, they have never gone backwards...sometimes that has taken a while...one of my sites dropped from a 3 to a 1 for about a month, but then was right back to being a 3 in no time...don't worry, things happen, but they will eventually work out.

 

I can understand why you would be anxious in the situation. Since we all have very little control of things like that, the best advice is to ride it out and see what comes. Good luck.

 

what you describe is a reasonable facing of the situation but it doesn't mean that i will get calm before i see what is the final luck of my site.

What did you change? Work backwards in thinking if there was a major update in your site or maybe on your links. If you are the main webmaster and you have not done anything to cause this outcome, then it is definitely out of your hands. Wait for a couple of weeks and if things don't come back to normal is back to the promotional stage for your site. You are going to have to make some changes to your strategy in order to adjust. Unfortunately Google does not ask us before changing things on their end.

 

yeah did you change anything on your site or content? those will effect lots in term of on-page optimization. try go back to focus on your keywords and pay more time/attention to off-page optimization as well. hope you got your rank back soon.

 

i didn't change nothing to my content. i just bought many links in relevant, high traffic sites with high pr. Many of them are strong sites.

 

my suspsisions that the site is flagged are stronger now, because i see that the homepage is not ranking at all for some keywords, while some subpages rank for the same keywords

 

Sorry to hear that, but yeah it is possible that your links got you penalized.

 

i wonder whether some links in relevant sites can affect my site :S

or maybe the mass blogposts i bought penalized it :S
