Reseller Account

    Hey. I am intrested in being a reseller of shared hosting. I would like to know if anyone here can provide reseller hosting accounts or if anyone here knows of any good ones.

    First of all I am looking for a cheaply priced reseller account that as an good amount of webspace and bandwidth. I also would like the reseller to host a small amount of sites per server.

    I would like to keep my customers happy, and provide them 99.9 uptime. I would also want the accounts running fast and smoothly. I also would require all the features of an normal hosting account. All if possible.

    I am looking to pay via PayPal, and I would like to pay monthly. Also if there is the ability to pay yearly, I would be willing to pay this method.

    The lowest I would be looking at would be;

    Webspace: 500gb,
    Bandwidth: 25,000gb.

    More would be even better. Also if anyone is going to offer me unlimited or unmetered webspace/bandwidth, please make sure I actually get that unlimited amount.

    According to your bandwidth needs, it looks like you will need a 100 Mbit Unmetered Connection (Virtually Unmetered) :)

    For 10 Mbit Unmetered you will get 3300 GB Bandwidth in a full month and For 100 Mbit Unmetered you will get 33000 GB Dedicated Bandwidth in a full month. So i would really recommend you to go with some service who is popular for providing unmetered connections at 100 Mbit port (Cause you need Tier 1 Bandwidth, other then your site performance will slow down while your server load and memory usage is quite good). I would really recommend you to check FDCServers plans:

    I have a good experience with fdcserver and really recommend it if you are looking for a premium high bandwidth (like 33000 GB). And if you have plan with limited bandwidth you may look into Layeredtech or softlayer (Bandwidth like 1500-2000 GB monthly).

    Are you sure you will need that much space and bandwidth as a new reseller?

    I think you'd be much better off starting off with something small and going with a company that allows you to upgrade your package as you grow.

    It seems like 500 GB of space and 25,000 GB of bandwidth would be a bit of a waste! There's no way you'd even break even on that for at least a couple of years, so you'd just be wasting money.

    That seems way to small, I know I am probably going to buy an small reseller. However thats just too small. What packages could you possibly make and sell with that?
