Does anyone have a list of high PR blogs that accept comments. I would like to try and post some comments to some blogs to try and increase the links to my site.

    Thanks
    Clint

i think making comments on blogs will not effect your page rank serp bacause most of the blogs are using nofollow with their otgoing links. when G will see a link with nofollow, it will ignore that link

Blog with nofollow attribute is useless for link building in some search engine but if the blog is highly visited blog it can be a source of traffic.

Thank you for the info, I knew some blogs used nofollow, but I didn't know most of them were using it. I guess I will stick with directories.

    Thanks

If it is the case, is there any need in posting comments to the blogs?

Sure, if you want to comment on an interesting blog entry and express your opinion :D

More and more free directories are also starting to use nofollow.

Yahoo and MSN also respect the nofollow attribute...it's not only for Google.

If you find Drupal blogs they don't have the nofollow tag so those "should" be good for google.

I don't think so. I saw some BL from yahoo for my sites from sites using nofollow. Nofollow is actually google attribute.

Thats BS. You can turn it on and most people do.

    admin/filters/1/configure

    Spam link deterrent
If enabled, Drupal will add rel="nofollow" to all links, as a measure to reduce the effectiveness of spam links. Note: this will also prevent valid links from being followed by search engines, therefore it is likely most effective when enabled for anonymous users.

    Is selected on mine.
I think it may be selected per default now.

Filter 1 is "filtered html" for me (the default for comments).

What market or niche are you targeting for that list of blogs you want to post too and I will see if I can come up with a list for you.
