A budding internet entrepreneur...

    Greetz,

It's definately pointless to mention this...but I just have this overwhelming urge to post this phrase anytime I start an intro at a new forum...I'm new here, and eager to start getting involved...so get ready for me...because here I come!

And unlike some people...I actually use the intro forum for it's purpose...to fully introduce myself...so if you don't really want to know about me...you can stop reading now...but if you might think it'd be interesting...plunge on fellow personable people :D

    ...oh...and I like ellipses (...) and smilies...so be warned.

My name is Daniel Barr, and I'm a budding internet entrepreneur. My main focus has been forums and graphics design (and hence style designs for forums). I've been into forums since I was 10 (i'm currently 21...but a very skilled 21 i'd like to add). And specifically vbulletin for a little over 3 years, so you can rest assured I'm an expert admin.

I'm fluent in html, graphics design, most types of networking, and many other things. I have a hosting business that has a few customers, but although i don't keep it a secret...it's pretty much a private site since i don't advertise it (i haven't even finished the site because i've been too busy with clients to do my own stuff and it's currently one of my lower end priorities simply because I don't have the massive capital required to start it correctly...and i don't like to do things half-baked)...but if you would like to be an angel investor...50 grand will do nicely...lol

I currently own 3 forums, one of which doesn't do anything, one is a gaming forum that I need to do more work on, and the other is a business forum that is actually my only real source of decent 'freelance' income...which is why I say i'm budding...although i have been in this 'interweb world' for 10 years now...i'm just recently getting into the aspect of making money from it.

I am good with SEO, monetizing (or so i seem to think so far from the limited amount of experience i've had...those few things have done quite well based on my desires), and a ton of other 'web' based talents.

I live with my wife Amber, daughter Kylie, and cat Nala in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. I'm a member of the United States Air Force and am also currently working towards getting a triple Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree with majors in Multimedia and Visual Communications, Software Engineering, and Information System Security.

well enough about me in this post...feel free to ask anything else if you dare...because as you can see...I LOVE to write :) (which is one reason i'm good at SEO i think)...

I can post a few that aren't the greatest in the world...they were all made a while ago...then i killed my computer and my portfolio with it...and been too busy to get a lot more clients for web design lately...

but here are a few (i've got a few more vb skins...they just aren't live...though they will be on my portfolio site once i get around to doing that)

these are all pretty basic skins...the sites i can remember off the top of my head...lol

    pokerforumcanada.com
vbgamerz.com/forum/index.php?styleid=6 (though it's a little messed up at the moment..got messed up on the import and haven't fixed it yet)
    nursespage.com

and wow...just realized i can't think of many more at the moment...lol

i have another client i'm doing right now...should be done in about a month and i'll post that one too :) (doing much more than a design for that one)

glad to see someone actually read all that :D...lol
