I've written this article about making money from your signature, recent blog, avatar and location to explain how much money is there to be made! Reputation is appreciated . Make over $4150 from Digital Point Forums in two years! After researching Digital Point Forums to find out how much people pay for advertising in members signature, avatar, etc. I've realized that theres a lot of money to be made in Digital Point as well as all other forums for their members, you have an avatar, four signature links, a location and a recent blog, these can all be sold for good money! You normally will get around: $4 ($1 for one) per 100 posts for your signature, $0.50 per 100 posts for you location and recent blog, $0.50 per 100 posts for your avatar. If you make 10 posts a day which is quite easy it'll take you 100 days or just over 3 months to make 1000 posts. So for the fourth month you could sell four signature links for $40 a month, your avatar for $5 and your location and recent blog for $5 which equals $50 for a month! If you think about it after the month is over if you keep making 10 posts a day you'll have made another 300 posts which means another $15 per month. Month (Total posts at the start of the month) = Money Made YEAR 1 Janurary (0) = $0 Feburary (300) = $15 March (600) = $30 April (900) = $45 May (1200) = $60 June (1500) = $75 July (1800) = $90 August (2100) = $105 September (2400) = $120 October (2700) = $135 November (3000) = $150 December (3300) = $165 12 Months (3600) = $990! YEAR 2 Janurary (3600) = $180 Feburary (3900) = $195 March (4200) = $210 April (4500) = $225 May (4800) = $240 June (5100) = $255 July (5400) = $270 August (5700) = $285 September (6000) = $300 October (6300) = $315 November (6600) = $330 December (6900) = $345 12 Months (7200) = $3150 So you could make up to $1000 for the first year and for the second year you could make up to $3150 so after two years you will have made up to $4150! All you need to do to achieve this is make 10 posts per day. Think about how much you could make if you made 20 posts per day or keep making 10 posts per day for more than two years! Brennan.

Thanks for the comment jd, yeah the figures are a minimum but defiantly more money can be made if the member has a good reputation at the forum and they are a very active poster.

That's true. The more that I have read on here about people who contribute to threads with good advice and help, the more rep they have and thus the greater the amount they can charge. Posting 10 times a day will help a little but if all of your posts are generic and don't help contribute to the discussion people will notice.
You did a good job. But I have seen similar post at dP and a blog. Why you have one sign link spare?? If you go for year 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 etc.. your income will boost like rocket. rep added for good post. and encouraging DP member.
Yes Brennan very good calculation. Sometimes you will get more money than this rate. I sold 1 spot before in feb when I had 390 posts and I got $7 for that but it is not came from auction but someone want to buy siganture links. I think he paid highest rate for each and every users on DP.
Yeah $7 for 400 posts is quite a lot but then it would be reasonable if you were making like 50 posts a day. I recently sold two links for $5 each .
Wow, I was actually just going to calculate something like this today to see what I needed to do to start getting a bit of profit (no matter how little), now I don't need to I'd rep you..but alas...I can't yet...lol (which you've led me to another question with which i'll start a new thread)
i like the way you have written about making money on dp, but then it would be better if you say, that dp is a nice community and it helps people get a lot of money by making then learn seo etc stuffs!! selling links and signature is just a part time profit! but then am sure that many people will join dp for this purpose, most of them will spam and get away early. do one thing, just give a link to the rules, faqs and sticky threads so that they don't break the rules!

that's one thing I'm looking forward to as well as my goal of hitting 50 (good) posts per day (not spam crappy posts )...which i think will be quite easy since I sit at work 9 hours a day and don't do anything but check forums...lol... and brennan...i know at least the link to the faq/rules is in the navbar
I think I'm doing good so far...what do you think? That is my main goal...providing real posts...and not 5 words posts...I'm not fond of spammers and don't like to be one...but I love to talk...lol...so I try to talk a lot in each post to make it a good post
It's not 100% acurate This involves to keap those prices (some time people buy in bulck and get discounts) + it in volves selling all sign Avatar location
it would be impossible to get it 100% accurate...as it depends 100% percent on what an advertiser felt like it was worth to him... though it's a good starting point for estimation
