Selling links

Is that we will sell ad space on our site will affect our google ranking.? I recently heard that if we buy or sell links google will penalize our site.

Thanks for your reply. I came across this site iseekloans.com. In their site home page i found some recommeded sites. is that they are buyed ads or they have asked for buying ad space in their site. Iam not sure. can you please check and tell me. Wont that google will penalize?

Honnestly, I don't think you will be penalized for buying links at iseekloans.com. I think Google is going to far, and want to control the Internet. Also, don't forget, big sites like Yahoo for instance, sells links. So what is supposed Google to do ? Penalize Yahoo;
Finally, what is Adsense ? A sort of paid links also.
I really think this is a very big bullshit from Google, don't worry too much about it.

yes dont be panic. if you still scared, just buy for a short period of time like 1-2 months that wont cost you much isn't it?
this story is hard to be true. mils of business will be affected by this and i dont think google will make sucha mistake to let their customer go to their competitors...

 

That is not true, google would distroy themselves if they did that, I would not be concerned.

 

I agree. This idea is not from 2007. Buying or Selling links is from the begging of the net. They have to penalize all internet giants.

Selling links for traffic is no problem for google as Matt Cutts said in his comment.
