I got a payment 65$ some days ago without any email notification. That never happened with me before. What about you. Is that normal?

    Yeah it did.
Everything was fine, the transaction was normal, I mean they had to pay me. I was waiting for the email notification, I said them to send the money. They replied "we've already sent money". I checked my spam folder too, but there was no any mail about that transaction. When I logged in paypal, there was a fund arrived.

It happens to me a couple of times. And the worst thing is without me knowing about it, I didn't shipped out the item and ended up cancelling the order as requested. Now I have to check once awhile to ensure that it didn't happen again.

This is just an email 'hiccup' that has been filtered. It seems that the whitelist filtering is the cause of the 'missing emails' so I have disabled the filtering. But still once or twice it is happening. I just make myself to check on my paypal once awhile.

Never happened to me before. It didn't somehow end up in the junk mail folder or you accidently deleted it together with all the other spam?

Happened to me on a regular basis when receiving payments from a particular email address. They were weekly payments, and I was never getting email notifications. Never figured out why. Regular emails from that address were getting through so there was no communication problem between us. Just paypal "losing" their notifications to me.

Same thing happened to me. AOL drops the ball too sometimes. Nothing in my spam folder either, I just didn't get it.

This happens rarely due to the all spam filtering.

I was talking to paypal today and was lucky enough to see this thread moments when i was in the call with them for another clarification that i needed and they told me that there system WILL send an email but they have received a few concerns from other people about this and are observing this. There Technical team is working on this issue. They assume its the Antivirus Spam guard feature which could be blocking it or any other email spam guard installed by the user.

she was not a technical representative and i was in no mood to argue so that i all i can say to you........

    STRANGE but .....
