Ok so Im about to finish my last year of Jr High and go onto high school, so far I've gotten into these classes. English 10 Math Applied Science 10 Social 10 I'm hoping to get into Math 10 before the school ends, I average very good in everything else, I just sucks at maths. So heres my Q's, take in mind I live in Canada. 1) What highschool average do you need to get into University (For ex, Uni of Calgary). 2) Is math absolutley neccesary for Uni. 3) What are some good paying careers which you don't need math for. Thanks "
Ok so for Canada.. which university are you talking about? And which program? I wouldn't get no lower than 75.... at U of T its 85 (which is safe) for sciences. But this varies.. U of M (manitoba) is... 65%... so.. MATH: Depends again what you're going into, its not too hard.. best to open more doors..
Ok maintain high 80's.. that's safe. Also med school: YOU need math, aim for 90's its hard to get into med school... (but they only count your marks in university)
Do you think that it really matters what I get in Juniour High, cus Ive been slacking alot but I wana kick it into gear and get REALLY GOOD in Highschool.
Ok honestly.. I was a HUGE slacker in junior high.. and highschool EXCEPT for grade 12 (this is where the grades matter). But don't slack off too much, it becomes a bad habit
Yeah if you slack do it the right way! Make sure you understand the material and what not (you'll know what's not useful ). But yes, try hard you have to prepare yourself to get into university first.. and then you have to keep a good GPA in university AND then write a good MCAT exam and interview......
