If you are serious about your blog, I would suggest buying a domain for it instead of having it as a subdomain or a blogspot/"Yourdomain"

It might be harder to be indexed by google if its not a unique domain.

After that, get unique content, and trade links with other blogs and gurantee your blog will be indexed.

    Hope that helps. :D

    Regards,
    Zack

the most difficult way to be indexed by google is submitting it to google with http://www.google.com/addurl/ .

I suggest you to make some link exchange or buying links from high pr sites . G will find you;)

dont use those!!. it will take ages to get indexed. just try to find a high pr site to put your link and your blog will be index very soon. the higher PR site, the faster will be indexed.

Don't submit your site to search engine just wait for them to crawl your site. Post the URL of your site on your forum sig for fastest indexing. Start also to build links.

these are all good suggestions but i think the best is to add your site into your sig. it takes a few days, but when it gets indexed google really hits it hard and heavy and it won't drop out a few days later

Just create a unique content then build links by blog directory submission or through forum signatures. :)

DONT SUBMIT YOUR BLOG TO GOOGLE!!!
This is what I`ve done with my first blog and I didn't get indexed untill the last week(this means 4 months of waiting!)!
On the other hand I linked to my new blog (the soccer blog in my signature) from my PR3 not-indexed blog 1 month ago and I get indexed within two days!!!

So a link from a good PR site will do the job, I think!

Like any site, being added to the index takes time. There's no faster or guaranteed method with a blog. Linking into the blog helps though and adding the URL (and submitting a sitemap) could appear to expedite the process but there's no guarantee. The domain needs to be in Google's "trust box" first.

We add and update new sites to our index each time we crawl the web, and we invite you to submit your URL here. We do not add all submitted URLs to our index, and we cannot make any predictions or guarantees about when or if they will appear.

Please enter your full URL, including the http:// prefix. For example: http://www.google.com/. You may also add comments or keywords that describe the content of your page. These are used only for our information and do not affect how your page is indexed or used by Google.
