Is this normal for paypal

    Hi, I made a paypal account and it is unverified, but my spending limit is 0.00. Is that normal? I heard that unverified users should be getting like 500 or something.

    This can be normal... but you probably added in a bank account that's why, did you do this?

    Yes - You have to add a credit card or Bank account,

    Then you can send money, Until then you can only receive $500 a month

    I opened a paypal account yesterday, and tried to receive a penny, and they would not let me receive it until I was verified.

    Which I am in the process of doing, but it takes like 2 or 3 days for the amount they deposit to show up.

    Ok, so I assume this limit applies to US paypal account holder?! Or this is the new policy of paypal? I'm glad eventhough I'm unverified I can still send and receive $$.

    hmm, maybe it was just because it was a penny :rolleyes:

    Maybe you guys should test it out, by going to my blog http://bill.checkmyhead.com and clicking the donate button;)

    to be sure, maybe try a range of amounts, say like $2 up to $50 :D that way we could make sure it wasn't the penny and I could get some gas money...
