.ws .eu .tv success

    An observation…

I know that lots, if not most people will say ".com is the only one…" ".com is king…" etc etc etc

But i now have several small sites on .ws .eu .tv that i have built for clients and they are all pretty successful in getting a reasonable amount of traffic via searches - even though I often read or hear that people don't seem to think that Google takes much notice of .ws .eu .tv etc.

Maybe Google doesn't take much notice of them. If that's true I must be better at this SEO lark than I thought! :)

Or maybe I should get out into the garden…

I too have noticed that. They give more importance to .com and .org tlds. Why don't you think like this? If you are getting good traffic with .ws and .tv domains, then you might have got better traffic for the same site with a .com domain.

But more important factor is having commonly searched terms in the domain name. I think going for a .tv or .ws domain with a common search term is better than going for a .com domain with less searched terms.
