What do you think about thoses players : - XOOPA - EMAILACES - CONSTANTCONTACT - STREAMSEND (I am not into AWEBER or GETRESPONSE as I want to avoid the recomfirmation process of my existing subscribers)
I used emailaces, they're pretty good. I do however prefer GetResponse. Email aces can have really slow support response times and their tracker seems to be broken at times. for example: something like 0 views 2 unsubs...hmm, makes complete sense there..
I read on the forum that CONSTANTCONTACT used to be be blacklisted a lot ... Scaring Keep in mind that I am not into AWEBER or GETRESPONSE because I want to avoid the recomfirmation process of my existing subscribers (I do not want to lose any of them)
Hi, Lastbutnotleast, I don't have any personal experience with Streamsend and Getresponse but ok, Emailaces and Xoopa are quite familiar to me. My Emailaces observations so far - they really are pretty good, though I've found the slow response time and the tracker bugs annoying sometimes. About Xoopa - my first choice before Emailaces. Definitely I would give it no more than 5 points out of, let's say 10. Slow service, very unsatisfactory client services... Hope my answer is of help
Thank you NathanielJ for sharing your experience So XOOPA is unsatisfactory - ok About EMAILACES, what do you mean by pretty good ? Easy to import your list ? No blacklist ? They are the 2 key issues (for me)
Both, I'm sorry for being so concise, I simply don't have the time now to expand on that. Have the best of your day
From what i've been able to gather, get response does normally require reconfirmation of existing lists as well.... I'm currently waiting to hear back whether or not they will approve us... Constant Contact is incredibly expensive in comparison to aweber and getresponse... I'd rather have my own system written and lease a pretty kickass server just for it for those prices... Aweber was great, but they booted us for being adult in our 7th week with them after confirming 5 times that the content was ok. (its a pg-13 dating and sex information website...) If your site is on the fringe of something they aren't overly fond of, then you may want to avoid the hassles this caused me... no warning shut-down of the campaign. (to their credit, they did make sure to send a current export of everything we put in....)
