And the good news is that you can try both for free for like 30 days, right? I'm not using either one yet, but plan to sign up with both services and put them through their paces to check them out.
I see ... Will make a decision between XOOPA, CONSTANTCONTACT and STREAMSEND Anybody has an opinion on these 3 players ?
I'd highly recommend either GetResponse or Aweber. Personally, I like GetResponse a little more, but it's more of a personal preference -- both are great and stand out far above the rest. I wrote a few reviews on them at my internet marketing blog. Be careful of some old reviews you see on other sites that talk about GetResponse being more expensive for larger lists -- that was long ago -- now they're actually cheaper. I think this is one reason why some gurus went with Aweber in the past. Brian
i'd recommend GR in basic but it doesnt really matter. Using a response system is smart because Google likes pages that update frequently
I'd only recommend GetResponse or Aweber to you ... for the moderatey priced ones that is. There are industrial strength ones that some of the big chain stores use, but unless your list is in the millions and you have deep pockets, pick one of those two. Brian
I have a friend that uses Constant Contact and is quite happy with it. I haven't used it myself, though.
Hi Lastbutnotleast, I would suggest trying out all available free trials to determine which you like best. It cost nothing and will greatly help you in who to choose. Most companies dont require you to sign a contract so there is nothing to lose (C= If you are interested, PM or contact me through our website at xoopa.com and I will have a list setup for you in no time. Hi everyone, Thanks for all the replies, it's really appreciated. As I can see, choosing between Aweber or GetResponse seems to be a question of personal preferences. I haven't made my decision yet... In fact, I heard about 'all in one' services wich provides web hosting, list hosting autoresponder and ad tracking all in the same package. I find it interesting but I'm not sure if it is very reliable. Are they? Or is it better to go with separate services (aweber for autoresponder, godaddy for webhosting etc...)?
Have you ever thought of using a standalone version of autoresponder? You pay a one-time fee of $50 and that's it! It has all the features without having to pay monthly. I think standalone versions are becoming very affordable right now and that's what I would use if I need to pay for one.
