I just got SPAM'ed by ---.linkaddiction.com today. Do not grab emails addresses from the message boards and SPAM them for purchasing links! I hope no one buys links from you. Nothing I hate more than unasked for SPAM filling my inbox. "Hello! i am the owner of LinkAddiction ---.linkaddiction.com this is a new site for you to bid links that show at the top list of homepage, place a bid only for $1 only. thank you. with best regards, LA"
nice point out. the reason is that the site is heavily promoted. but hey you gotta point, may be i should reduce it to 1$ first.
That would be good. Not doubting it will be worth 24 bucks soon, but before the promotion kicks in, better start out small.
also a good point, m8. I'm suring going to reduce the price Just before I'm making a formal announcment here. But for now, I'll work hard on getting noticed by placing bid on various important site (bigweblink, and other site listed here).
Have a little faith in the concept toby ... you can never underprice your links! Right now there is little to go on except the reputation of the directory owners. Very few directories have PR so people have to guess how well a site will do in the future. After the PR update you will probably see a lot of bidding that reflects the new page ranks. Nobody will let even a solid PR4 page go to someone else too cheaply. If you promote your site the bids will increase. The more you do to increase rank and traffic the more valuable your links will become, and each time PR increases more new bids will come your way. I really don't expect the real action to start before the September update. Everyone wants to rank well for Christmas!
hey man, thanks. guess what? I was trying to bid for your makcity but the bidding process is a little complet for me. I try to check out the how to bid section but it turns out to the one that does not have the "Submit" button. Only see "Search", "canceL" and "exit"
seems like toby heavily promoting his site. Its worth the min bid of $24 to get listed in www.famousdirectory.net I think
Thanks toby ... at least for trying. To be honest we figured it would be more of an uphill battle. Nobody even knew what a bid directory was when we launched in December. Our plan was to streamline the site after the first PR update. Guess that will teach me for having a plan ...
http://www.mrktcity.com/cgi-bin/dirbid.pl really dotn see the "submit" button there. I wanna be on the first page too.
You have to add your site first before bidding. http://www.mrktcity.com/1025.html then click "Add a Link"
