So, I finally gave in to everyone telling me this is a great movie. Some even went as far as to say that it is the best movie ever created. SO, I bought it last night at Wal-Mart for $20, after waiting 10 minutes for an elderly woman to verify I am 17 or over. Ugh. So I got home, popped it in, and absolutely loved it. The part with the accidental shooting of the cat made me laugh so hard, that I literally could not remember the last time I laughed so hard at a movie. The ending though, really got me. It was ... well, horrible. Do you get the feeling that the movie was really good up until the ending, and the film shooters just saw they had a long movie on their hands and ended it really quick? I mean, it literally ended out of nowhere. I was surprised. This movie would've been better with a different ending... Thoughts?
I liked the ending; thought it was pretty cool. Supposed to have been filmed in Boston, but the majority of it was in Toronto. It was distracting, because I kept thinking to myself: "Hey that's not too far from my house!"
Haha, that is interesting. You recognize any landmarks in the movie? I don't know, maybe I was too sleepy and the ending actually made sense. I might watch it again just to make sure.
I don't think you could compare the two. They are both good, but they are completely different in terms of 'awesome'. I like the Boondock Saints a lot, just don't know why the ended it so abruptly...
