I think there should be an age requirement on DP forums. Sometimes I wonder if people like you are even teenagers. A) You can sign up for as many accounts as you want, I myself have more than one account. B) The poster thought that revenue sharing is considered as a candidate for creating an account, which is not. No need to start name calling or anything. Google is not stupid to be suspicious of DP because of such incident, I am actually pretty sure they know it was a pure mis-understanding, otherwise they would've banned his first account. Please try to act more mature. I recommend that you read this article: http://www.albion.com/netiquette/corerules.html Peace,
You are rude and nasty. You could have made your point without resorting to insults. And no, I am not interested in seeing you take a dump.
Not to go terribly off-topic, but I'm younger than most people around here and you won't see me acting like that. Users like that are asses, regardless of age, and age limits won't solve anything.
This was uncalled for. Of course he made the whole mistake but you didn't need to resort to saying anything stupid like this. Getting your point across without insults is easier than you think.
Well that's a load of bollocks. If you actually read the Google AdSense Online Standard Terms and Conditions you'll see quite clearly that the end of section 1 states: There's also more about it here. You can't sign up for multiple accounts under the same name, ergo you'd have to commit fraud to get more than 1 account for yourself! So not as cut and dry as you give the impression.
Yes I know. You can have more than one account as long as its under a different entity. My mistake for not making it clear from the beginning. Peace,
wow, one nasty forum, why don't you just use channels instead of trying to get another account? seems like he made a mistake, no need for people to jump on him so hard. I say people, but person really
Using a channel would indeed have been better - DP revenue share doesn't endanger your account. What you did may... you think you hid your tracks well enough?
So you said that you own digitalpoint? lol; i don t think that you can be so naive as to think that they eventually will believe you; Perhaps you should try an experiment to register using yahoo.com or google.com or youtube.com as your website.
He said that was planning their second AdSense account to use on "risky" sites, and are considering Revenue Sharing sites as "risky". Probably on other sites he could earn much more than $0.05/month
He probably kept reading other posts from people saying that they are risking their Adsense accounts by using the Rev Share on DP and so on. I'm guessing that's why he labeled Revenue Sharing sites as risky. Some people also need to chill out when using the internet, wonder how they react in real life if they explode like that in a forum
Here at DP the affiliate ID used for AdSense ads (like the top right at each page) is 50% for Shawn (DP owner), and 50% for another Adsense Client ID chosed aleat. from DP users with posts on that page (and with Adsense ID filled on their profile). That way the income produced for those Ads with your AdSense ID (impressions and/or clicks) is for you. I guess that if the DP user chosed has not filled their AdSense ID (in their profile), the Shawn's Adsense ID is used also.
