Do you think, investing in a domain- buying and selling business is really worth it these days. How would you rate this domain selling business, in terms of percentage. What is the percentage of doing a successful business.
If you know how to market domains , buying and selling sites it is worth it. However.. depends on how much you're investing and risking. For me, its okay since I can design and make the content myself.. but if you're going to have to pay people to create content and such, the risk is much higher and you need to be careful about the niche you are going to go with.
If you are going to be buying and selling domains only without any website then I cannot see much profit in it for you unless you are willing to invest a lot of money to get some very good domains. Where would you buy these domains? This is the most important thing to think about. If you are going to buy a domain, build a website and get traffic and rankings for it then this would be profitable. Think about this!! All domains and websites are useful to someone.
it really deponds on how you go on with the business!! here is a tip that could help! just find some expired pr3+ domains, not too hard to find! then just find the cached images and archives etc to find out what the site was really! then try to make a similar site, so that you don't lose the pr after the update!! then you can easily make some money with the domain! perhaps a lot of money, as buying a domain and selling a site is absolutely a profitable business!!
I think i'd rather buy domains and use it for my sole purpose. Instead of reselling the domain. I would just create tons of websites and blogs. Then start earning from adsense and link selling.
