How long does it usually take for google to index an article that is hosted on a site like ezinearticles.com?
From my experience, its taken anywhere from 4 hours to 24 hours. Mind you, google is in love with our site at 211,000 visits since April 1.
i have tried to index with dp forums signature. google has indexed my new site 12 hours after adding it to my dp forums signature. this was the fastest index time.
My experience has been a few days, although it sounds like they're getting faster. It also sounds like more links boost a URL's priority in the queue.

I had a poker site beeing indexed in one day with a PR of 4....and then a news related blog needed 4 month.....I think its all over the place. Cheers, Cosmoglobe
I took me many months. I have to fix it using google sitemaps, etc. If you don;t get indexed after a few days, please look into consciously telling google that your site exist.
I would say 1 to 3 days if your site is well-known from G. 1 week if you have an up-to-date sitemap. Note that you can request G to reread your sitemap by pinging it. Cheers ! Thibaut
Its certainly much faster than it used to be. I just migrated to a hosted environment running Wordpress on Saturday, April 7. Not only was the site indexed right away but two days later I was starting to receive traffic from Google searches. Regards, Robert
The last time I checked (which is probably almost a year ago) it was 4-24 hours. If it has gotten faster since then, then that'll be amazing!
Just go to google and enter the title of your article surrounded by quotes. For example....type "This is the title of my article" in google.
