Here's an idea - stop caring. Who cares if someone is a homosexual, or a homo-sapien. I am glad I am a homo-sapien, and I am glad most of you are homo sapiens too.

Why care? Seriously, before you respond with another nine pages of bloat - why care if Jim likes Joe, and Trish likes Tammy? Who honestly gives? Only churches and doctrines passed on by great 'moralists' deem it wrong or bad, but it hasn't always been viewed that way - why - go back before churches dominated the landscape and the single God took over the minds of the people. Greeks, Romans, Persians, etc all didn't look at it like we do. The demonization of it is a social thing, it is a cultural thing, there's no one to say it is wrong but our collective selves.

We make it wrong by thinking it is wrong, and we make other things right by thinking they are right. So instead of doing this, stop thinking, and start not-caring. Think of all the people who died because the charismatic who used issues to wage war. Now think - had they not cared about differences, had they not cared about practices, would there have been a war? Society is to blame, culture is to blame, and that means every single individual person who cares is to blame. Wasting time on issues that have no effect on food supplies, life or death, the pending end of the world, and starving children - is simply a waste of time. More people care about someone else's problems in views than with little babies who are dying of starvation. Your culture cares more about who is gay, than about a genocide that wipes out millions. Your culture cares more about hating groups than about saving groups. Your culture is more interested in the Media than the Misery and Plight of others - which your media covers daily and you sit there saying "oh jee so sad" then change the channel from the images of the starving and the poor, pack in a few more extra calories into your gut, then pleasure yourselves to bash a group of people for their views.

So simply put - stop giving a damn what other people are and what they think and believe, and start caring how to help those in need.

Sounds like you need to take a bit of your own medicine there, or have you helped so many people in need today that you just had to take a break to make sure everyone feels guilty for their own beliefs and not helping the poor as much as you did?

Kind of ironic that you started your post out by bashing those 'moralists' who demonized homosexuality. I haven't heard such moralistic rhetoric in quite a while.

I get tired of seeing all the time wasted - and in fact I do help people who are in need by volunteering. Irony, at the very least, along with counter-rhetoric, will make people think it over. Instead of feeling guilty - the point was to stop the gratuitous waste of time - and motivate a few people to do something for their fellow man. Of course I hardly expect that from most humans anymore, I take the most pessimistic views about the species and its ability to care. I await the asteroid that bombards and wipes us all out with glee at times. I don't pass old ladies who have a flat tire, I don't pass an accident and figure someone will come to it, and I don't pass an opportunity to hold a door open or push a cart for someone who is struggling with it.

That's just how it goes. We're a contradictory species without real clarity or purpose, just like how I speak and think as I write. I am quite sure you could take your time to point out every time I contradict myself, but if you look again, perhaps I was being and speaking a certain way for a purpose - a shock - a pause - a moment to cause thinking. Any ways it doesn't matter in the long run does it? Humans won't change, and my postings and arguments are utterly futile.

    Bring on the 'roids.

Except that most of their "gay pride" demonstrations consist of nothing more than their acting like complete freaks...

If they really wanted to be accepted, they would get jobs and go to work and buy houses in the 'burbs. Wait... most of the gay people I know already do that. :)

It's the political in-your-face homosexuals that really annoy people.

    ^^^^

You mean the people that act for homosexuals like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson do for black people?

Al Sharpton doesn't dress up in black leather with a ball gag and walk down main street.

I had never thought of it that way, but it does seem to fit.

If I were homosexual, I would be embarrassed to be represented by those people. If I were black, I would be embarrassed to be represented by Al or Jesse.

But where outside of the Castro in San Fran do you see gay people like that?

    What does that mean?

I think I'd prefer Al to wear a ball gag in all of his appearances. At least then I wouldn't have to listen to him.

If you can tell someones sexual preference from more than 50' away, it's because they want it to be so.

hey..I didn't say I wouldn't bang either one....I just don't see what thrill other guys get out of the lesbian part. I must be a freak of nature I just don't get turned on by lesbianism.

lesbianism = no sex for men

heterosexual women = means sex for men

What part of that men don't get?

I used to think the same way about it. People shouldn't care and let people do whatever they wanted right?

But... there is not way such practices should be promoted as right, people shouldn't be open about it or be proud of it.

Just ask yourself one question, would it be OK if everyone in the world was a homosexual? I think not...the human race would seize to exist in 50-100 years! So if homosexually is legal and proudly promoted, who gets to decide who gets to be gay and who doesn't?

Each individual must decide for him or her self.

How do you decide what to eat for breakfast? Does the government tell you?
