Google refuses me to display adds on Digitalpoint

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by footballboy, Apr 14, 2007.

I recently signed up for a second Adsense account to be used on revenue sharing forums. As my site I used digitalpoint. Two days later I received an email from Google saying that my application was denied as I did not own the site.

Does this mean Google does not accept revenue sharing sites?
    Anybody else same/different experiences

    Before anyone asks:
    - I used different ip addresses etc so they can't trace me.
    - I created a 2nd account as I don't want to endanger my primary one where I earn my money with

I don't suppose they're keen on revenue sharing sites - reading between the lines revenue sharing could be interpreted as meaning 'if we all click as many ads as we can, sooner or later we'll each earn something'.

You're only allowed one account. You've still got one account. If you'd succeeded in fraudulently obtaining a second account you would have got caught sooner or later, possibly loosing your earnings in the process. It really is kinder that they spotted you now.

They can ban you for anything they like - they included that handy 'get out clause' in the small print. It's against the rules, so yes they could ban you for it.

What's the point of multiple accounts? Avoiding smart-pricing? Use a second one with "risky" sites?

google told you that you do not own DP do you think for 1 second that Shawn is displaying adsense without registering DP and his ownership of it with adsense?
    are you just plain stupid?
people like you need to be banned, you fuck up things trying to act the smart ass by claiming you own a site that you dont, and make google a little more suspious of DP when DP is not at fault, a dumbass like you is.

You can't sign up for adsense using a site that you don't own.

You can sign up for adsense, then use your pub id for revenue sharing sites but you have to have your own site to get adsense first.

The easiest way to get an adsense account is start a blog at blogger.com, make a few blog posts then use the blogger dashboard to include adsense into the blog. It'll ask if you have an account, if you don't it'll let you sign up for one using the blogger blog. It should only take a day or two to get approved. then you can submit your pub id to revenue sharing sites like DP

easy people, I'm just doing something that somebody posted as a tip to avoid getting banned last week here on digitalpoint.

I guess you prove my poiny why it's needed. You post something on a forum, no harm intended, you upset a few people, they get angry with you, they start clicking the adds on top of the thread to get you banned.
I guess I'll stay away from revenue sharing.

Anyway, apologies if I have upset anybody - I was even unaware that it was not allowed (guess that means I'm a dumbass )

read his post again, he already has an adsense account that he wont risk, so tried to make another one for dodgy sites claiming to own DP as the site for the new account, so if they approved him, he was willing to risk DP's adsense account for his mindless selffish needs, yea sit on the fence, right? not when some toe rag n00b trys to abuse DP it's members and adsense for his own selfish needs
and they can ban me or give me infractions for this post. like i care.
now i said what you wanted to, you can rep me :D

Well, at the very least it means you need to go back and read the TOS:

It is a horrendous thing when AdSense publishers abuse their privledges.

You violated Google AdSense TOS. Someone could report you.

    You can have 2 accounts:
    1- individual
    2- business

The business account MUST be a registered verified business though.
