I currently bought v3.1 license of phpld and upgraded from v2.1 to 3.1

Those both scripts are uploaded on 2 web hosts..

There was some problem with upgrade..
so i just changed DNS to previous host with v2.1 script (till i solve the problem )

And I see that - I AM ATTACKED again by Spam submissions
till this 5 days with v3.1 I got no spams but as soon as i revert back to 2.1 - I was attacked..

Were spammers waiting for down-grade  :D

So its worth upgrading to paid license if you really want to stop them.

3.1 helps a lot with spam but you should get the mod 'spam blocker' from an0n that will fix it :)

I was getting around 6/7 submission/day --where the SPAMMER was making fun by using my own domain in the e-mail --and with URL to forum threads that led to nude pictures /drugs etc. etc.

Frustrated I upgraded -to 3.1 3 days back and no more SPAM submission.
But I wonder if changing the DNS is wise --it might confuse Google about your settings and problem with PR.

As I always say --I am technically dumb --so I prefer not to touch anything now --before the PR update except ofcourse upgrade to 3.1. But it has not yet been cached:D

Go back to 2.0 and you fully safe. 2.0 never gave me any attacks. ;)

I can agree with him. - iwas running 2 directories --one phpLD2.0 and one phpLD2.1 . I never had SAPM problem with 2.0 but had several problems with 2.1.

So you can easil do it without changing the DNS,:D :D

I'd say yes. There's probably bots out there with all the directory urls. I've only used 3.1 so haven't had many problems.
