Yep, can't see a closing </body> tag. Maybe that's the problem?

My site got knocked out of a keyword too just yesterday, the day after I made huge design changes. I looked into the coding right now after you said that, and I had two sets of <body>,</body>,<html>, and </html>.

Maybe their right sundaybrew, make sure the coding structure is good and you are closing the body tag and wait. Hopefully this'll fix my problem too. Good luck.

Thats what I am seeing and when I have messed with templates in CMS sometimes messes up improtant tags even though the dynamic pages show fine. Run it through a validator just to make sure. It wouold be nice in the future to see if this resolves the issue and you could report it back in this thread!

I think I know what it is. I have the same. I have several unique content sites. Slowly it goes up in visitors. A while ago I added a shopping part (like you have) on 2 sites. Both of these 2 sites are dropped in traffic major several days ago. This has never happened before. On all my other sites, no drop in visitors. Only the sites with a shopping part are dropped. No products on my content pages. You're in the same boot as me and probably we sink.

Google doesn't like your shop on your content site. He punishes you for this. Too many affiliate links at your site, makes you a thin affiliate. And if you sell products, Google makes less money.

You know, It wasn't until I added that shopping thing until this happened...

    Makes me think....

I added the shopping thing then like three days later, I get this,

But then again tons of people are using that Bans shopping script and actually doing well.....

But the <body> tag I will look into as well

Finally someone WITH THE SAME PROBLEM!! argh!!!

My site is 7 months old, and I spent TONS of hours SEO'ing it.

It was great for THREE keywords!

    URL: websiteredirect.com
    Keywords:
    #1 - unblock websites
    #1 - unblock sites
    #1 - website redirect
    #4 - unblock

Then all of a sudden, it is completely gone off of everything. Even a google search for websiteredirect.com does not show it in the results. I didn't do any blackhat SEO, and the domain is 7 months old, yet it looks like I got sandboxed for EVERY keyword... and yet I still have a lot of sites linking to mine..

Yet it still shows up indexed via site:domain.

If anyone has a guarenteed answer/fix, please let us know. My friend ran into a similar problem, then he submitted a sitemap to google and it was back, but this didn't work for me.

I went from 2000 uniques/day from google, to 0. Its been like that for 72 hours and still going. :(

Sounds right. I also own content sites and when i added affiliate links, these were clickbank my google traffic dropped off after a few days. I cloaked the links and then the traffic returned to normal. Ive noticed this on a few sites if your site is an information site you seem to get devalued if your selling product from it as well.

I experienced similar back in Feb and the only thing I could put it down to was the addition of an affiliate banner link sitewide, and some other links throughout the site.
Since removing these links, and submitting a couple of reinclusions to G, im slowly recovering... so maybe the shopping cart could be similar penalty to affil links.

    site 1 yr old
    all original content
    200 plus pages
    all whitehat
    hope this helps

I just removed all the products and the BANS store,

I also fixed the body tag issue, that someone mentioned

I am being to think now that the BANS store is / was the issue

Maybe since that script became popular google is starting to penalize it

So, I will see what happens now that I have removed the store

Thanks for all the wonderful input so far :)

    My traffic is Back!!!!

    The Solution:

I removed the recently added "bans" ebay store and after 2 days google started sending me traffic again

    I did nothing else.

The bans store made my site look spammy I guess to the bots

    My Traffic is Back!!!!!

    Whoot!!!!!

    Good to hear.

    Maybe that's why it's called 'BANS'? :/

    Yea maybe,

On the bans forum, I saw some other people crying that they got de-indexed even from the script ...

Some lost traffic.....I am glad my traffic is back, and to hell with Bans.....nice name

The code is a mess on that script anyhow, I actually asked for a refund as well.

The script was wriiten by like a 2 year old.....

Are you 110% it is a script issue? It would be nice if you could compare across several sites!

I have 2 different store / mall scripts and have not done a thing to them in the last several months and traffic shot up yesterday across all sites with the scripts. Most of it from Yahoo.

Did you follow a lot of the advice on this forum? A lot of the stuff here will get you banned sooner or later.
