Please give me suggestions for these 2 websites. First one: www.fitfishes.com A new drinks company. I don't want to disclose any more information about it at this time. Second one: www.stenpentus.com For a soon-to-be famous racer. -->> http://www.amk.ee/sten/ Rob
I think both are a fairly simplistic design. You may want to make them a bit more eye catching, and make them a brand with unique logos and images, a clean design etc.
sorry but first one seems very amateur. i know a nice design about drinks www.turkishpub.com .may be it can give you and idea.(you should click the Evet(Yes) to enter the site.)
I am not sure if you have ever seen this, and this is not a joke: webpagesthatsuck.com/does-my-web-site-suck/does-my-web-site-suck-intro.html Seriously, you need to read some design books, or articles. Also, a good place to learn solid skills for building is: htmlgoodies.com Good luck!
The fish is excellent, everything else has its own unique style, which some people may like and some people may not like.
The design of www.fitfishes.com is too simple and too pink, why not use an other color like blue? The red fonts in the side bar of http://www.stenpentus.com/ is too strong, maybe use a darker red.
First site: I think the colorscheme would work best if you replaced the bright pink with a dark blue Second site: The background kind of looks busy, try using a gradient background instead
Fitfishes. nice name! so much pink though. i almost can't see a what's in it. yes try adding some blue... the lighter or softer blue.. try also experimenting other colors to match your pink.
If you looked carefully, it is a gradient..lol. But, i am going to his house tomorrow with my laptop to do some work. Expect some new stuff on the site tomorrow. Rob
I think the background, is a tad distracting to the eye - your eyes are not drawn to the page, but to the background.
Thanks for the background suggestion, but the client choose it, i will teel him the suggestion, however, it is up to him whether he wants it changed or not. Rep added. Rob
Ohhh! I remember now. Um.. those are technically not gradients.. gradients look like this: But of course.. not as harsh..
LOL, it is a 'unique gradient'. What does the word gradient actually mean in the english language? Basically the background file is 500px by 1px. Rob Edit: rep added for helping
Generally It's not good that a huge chunk of your home page is below the fold - i had to scroll down to see an image The Logo is a bit stair steppy- try anti aliasing by exporting from illustrator? The graphics on the packaging is really cool - can't you use that? what is your target audience? seems like a kind of expensive drink for cool young people. Sort of thing that might be on sale at Glastonbury music festival. I would take a look at some sites that are aimed at the same sort of market to give you some ideas of layout...
To be honest, i am yet to actually a can of this drink, let alone try it, but i am sure it will be nice, it looks lovely. I have never seen this drink for sale in the south west of england either. Rob
