Hi, it was very strange and quite surprising to me. I was offered a job at google in the city of Budapest, as Online Sales and Operations Manager. I'm afraid it will be to hard for me :) should I go for it? what do you think? I'm still a student, and I contacted google through presentation on the campus and it all worked out perfectly - anyhow what do u think?

I'm sure you'll have lots of experienced Googlers to point you in the right direction. They'll understand it's going to take a while for you to get the hang of things and will train you accordingly. Fear not.

Why not give it a try? The best thing to help the poor is not be one of them.

Don't worry to much about the place. You will have some hard days no doubt, but after few days, you will manage.

All good jobs are tough so don't let that deter you.

If you like the idea of working for Google, in Europe (Budapest is a super nice city BTW) then go for it. College/University will always be there... it's not going anywhere. The same can't be said for a job offer like the one you have on your plate. :)

The worst that can happen? You don't like it, tell them you've had enough and go back to what you're doing now...

My motto: It's always better to regret something you HAVE done than to regret something you HAVEN'T done. Trust me, it's true.

Yeah, definitely go for it. And it's a good thing that there's gonna be a lot of decision making delegated to you. What do you want? Some easy, unimportant job? Make your best decisions and try your best. If you make a mistake try to recoup and move on. Don't quit before even starting, don't be a loser.

    Good luck!

    Seriously, why wouldnt you go?
You are young, smart and have a good head on your shoulders, you need to go see the world and enjoy your life.

If you just stay calm, you should almost always make the right decision.

Best of Luck - I LOVE GOOGLE :)

It is just a sales job. :) You'll make it. Same as any other sales job anywhere else (if you disregard the hype related to Google).

Go get the job; you'll have a chance to quit if you won't like it.

I would not worry about any responsibility ether. It is just an entry level position.

Go for it, there are thousands of other managers out there who don't have much experiance, you only get experiance from learning :)

There will be loads of people that can help you out, after a few weeks, you'll know what your doing. It's normal to feel nervous about a new high position job.

    Don't do it.
It doesn't appear you can handle it.
