I am thinking of making some website banners but i dont know what size to make them. Is there like a standered banner size or something?
What would you be making headers for? vbulletin? some CMS's or? maybe it would be an idear to make templates instead?
These are all the types of banners and their standard sizes: Leaderboard (728 x 90 pixel) Full Banner (486 x 60 pixel) Half Banner (234 x 60 pixel) Rectangle (180 x 150 pixel) Square Button (125 x 125 pixel) Skyscraper (120 x 600 pixel) Wide Skyscraper (160 x 600 pixel) Micro Bar (88 x 31 pixel) Large Rectangle (336 x 280 pixel)
Great list! This can also be found in Photoshop before you start a new project. You can also follow adsense's ad sizes if you want
Like stated above they are ad banner sizes... header sizes are more versatile but ad banners aren't because most advertisers are very specific about sizes.
I think banner size depends on possition where you want to put, however it should get wide enough to able to design your advertisment
Hi Here is the website link which will be very useful and answer your all question regarding banner size. http://designerstoolbox.com/designresources/banners/ Thank you.
For web with responsive features, it's very difficult to create a static header, unless you can create responsive headers using HTML5 & CSS3
Hello I'd suggest to ask professionals regarding HTML5 banners. There are some HTML5 banner makers, but I don't recommend this. You need to think also about the responsivity and the quality of the banners. I'd ask f.e. Topbanners.com.
