Anxiety about the results of your work, will stop you from giving the task at hand, your 100%. Your mind will be divided between focusing on the task and getting anxious about the result. You need to stop your mind from running into thye future and start living in the present. The fastest and easiest way to do this is by focusing on your breath. i can't say much on that! when ever i try to read my books, i think am going to fail in the exams, and i will get poor marks, there is no way you can stop thinking about the future! but then doing work at the present can change your future a bit, that you can always agree!!
Good tip! A lot of times I'll go out for a run as well, clears my mind. Not too much of that now though, at least until the baby comes.
