Mark from NamePros doesn't like me very much...

I was just wondering what kind of experiences you guys have had with the admin "Mark" on the domain name forum, "NamePros".

He has sort of had a grudge against me for a couple years now and it's pretty darn annoying. He just banned me a couple weeks ago for... uh oh... POSTING MORE THAN ONCE IN THE APPRAISALS SECTION IN A DAY. Two weeks for THAT!? And guess what now that my two weeks is up... still banned. This is total rubbish man. I'm just a guy trying to sell his domains...

 

I agree with you! he has banned me for no reason and he should get killed! search google for mark namepros and you will see how many people he bans, such a prick

 

Btw i had 350np$ in my account they took that too which i paid for

I like namepros but to be honest it has gone to the dogs lately.

As an experienced forum admin that I have been for over 10 years now I can see where their problem lies, but it's of no concern to me.

Same AGS. I've been administrating forums since 2001 and I've gotta say they are stricter than hitler.

 

Now you can't call someone a noob in chat without getting banned.

Being a Mod at a large forum (i.e 1,000+ active members) requires a lot of effort but common sense needs to be used.

 

But the person "mark" doesnt have common sense

He's actually a good Moderator but he just needs to exercise more common sense, simple as that. My business partner bonzer has also picked up on this too. Me and bonzer administrated the largest ever adult password forum on the net for about 5 years in the late 1990's, we are experts on how to run a large forum.

My forum, Xtreme iTalk (in sig) has been going for about a year and a couple months now and is doing quite fine. I bet it would be a lot harder if there were ten times as many members as I have already.

 

We had around 2,000 active members at any one time mate, not including guests (who had to register to see any of the forums) peeps like porn mate.

Around a 25 strong staff team, we rocked.

I just didn't know if you were religious and didn't enjoy quality hardcore porn or summats like that.

 

I got permanently banned for shill bidding. The funny part was, that I wasn't shill bidding.

They claimed the seller of the domain I bid for had logged into my account, meaning we were the same person. I didn't even know the guy, and doubt this even happened.

The more I tried to explain my innocence, the more I was ignored. Cool huh.

 

I was gonna sign up for that forum, don't think I will now though. . . .
