Just made a post in the marketing forum but figure here would also reveal some interesting things... What is the stupidest thing you have done? Or rather, the biggest mistake you have made for your business? What sort of after-effect did it cause? Were you able to get past it and/or fix it?
Not working on great ideas and taking opportunities. So procrastinating and making excuses not to take a risk. After effect: Well there was none, which was the bad thing. I didn't realize greater profits (after effect) that I planned to have appear out of nowhere. Did I fix it: Well now I'm working on those ideas, but it prolongs my successes.
I can second to that. I have changed that over the time though (Now I keep reading others posts while people are making money)
Procrastinating! and not learning enough PHP. Now ajax is taking off and I'm still a struggling with PHP.
well 32 Years ago I got Drunk and picked a fight with a police officer. Who was bigger, stronger and meaner than I was. Lesson learned do not pick a fight with a cop. This is Top 10 I think the biggest is letting fear get in my way just as long. I have avoided risks and led a very boring life with little or nothing to show for it. The other 8 biggest I will keep to myself
In regards to business. I invested about $40k in stock as the only distributor for a cable brand. The whole idea flopped because of the Australia-China free trade agreement. Basically, others were selling the Chinese imports at less than I could buy the original ones for. The manufacturer having a patent on the design in many countries meant nothing to Australia and China and I was powerless to stop them. I ended up losing the lot. Col
